Nice tutorial!.Many people assumes SEO is a very tough thing and we need professionals for doing this, well experience is useful but if one read the guidelines of google for SEO then one can learn it is a very easy process.

If you want to submit your website then Google web master, Bing web master, Yahoo Site explorer and Alex a is a good option I think
