I have not personally used the Palm Pré before, but the official Palm website should provide some good information about what features it comes with:

I have never used the palm pre, but I know someone who does and his biggest objection with it was the battery tuning out too fast. I have also heard some people say that it tries to immitate the iPhone too much but it lacks the processing power of the iPhone.

My girlfriend has one along with my friend Josh and they both love them. Both of them's biggest concern is that it does not support web based flash, but Palm has promised this by the end of October or at the most, the end of the year.

I like the Pre too, I am a current Windows Mobile 6.5 user, and have been using Windows Mobile for almost 2 years. I was going to get the Pre, but the lack of Flash Support really turned me off. Other then that, the app store just opened too, so check that out.
