    GoDaddy domain. Hosting?

I will buy a new domain. At godaddy.com it is just 10$ /y. But if I add the hosting (economy plan) It will be 56$ extra!!!

Do I have to buy hosting? What will happened if I do not?

You don't have to buy the hosting, if you don't you just get the domain name and controls over it. Just set the domain to point to your server and you're set to go.

You can use your free domain name with x10Hosting even after you set up the domain with GoDaddy. You can use both at the same time really. I have such a setup with my site, where I have an x10Hosting provided domain name, and then I have my own address which is independent of x10Hosting but points to x10Hosting's server.
