    # Special Characters FTP versus HTTP

I found this out the other day while uploading files to my X10 site and I thought some might find it interesting...

Did you know that you can upload a file with a "#" in the name via FTP:
FOR EXAMPLE: New Sample--Synth Bass C#.wav
...but you can NOT download that file via HTTP? You get an error about the file not being found as I remember.

That was pretty interesting to me.

I actually didn't know that! Can you download the file using the short code rather than # e.g. %20 for a space...I actually don't know it off the top of my head but it might be interesting to try.

If I helped you out then don't forget to give me rep

If you can put the error details, then can I make a statement.
