About LinkBacksOk, so I bought a 250 GB external HD, and I want a free software that will backup my whole drive image (by updating changed files, etc) to a directory in the external HD.
How will I be able to do that? And what softwares are there?

Try Using Acronis true image. It will backup your HDD in your second/external HDD. It stores all the Partition in a image file of your choice it appands changed files in image if you want to(it will ask you second time for appand when you try to creat image again) it can even let you mount hard disk image in its vertual drive ( but I have not used this feature ) I hope it solves your problem
