Yes, but there is supposed to be a limit. A crack team make one that works as many times as you want.

"Oh muh guh, wuh tuh fuh? Lawl."
Above meaningful quote straight from Paris Hilton. All hail.
i have a crack for windows xp and it allows the user to generate a completely legitimate cd key and you even install the windows genuine advantage tool. it passes all checks and you can use it for anything. it great the best thing ive ever found.
i think people misunderstand how piracy protection works. sure vista might have unique cd keys to every copy which would be impossible to crack unless someone can hack Microsoft servers and enter there own key :p. all the crack does it work on the back end of the protection. editing the hard code some of the thousands of files and registry entries that exist in any software. this takes time but it always can be done.
to all the hackers and crackers out there i love you for all your work. but hey with out piracy i would say that about 60% of the world would not be using windows or any other product and thats a massive loss of potential market and big software company's know it. if people really like the software that they use they will buy it because the piracy market rarely ever goes beond a non personal use market.
But using pirated software can cause severe penalties from the company...
If it's software (and more than three people are interested in it), it will be cracked. That's my philosophy.
what about the people who cannot afford to pay $300+ for Vista?, and only get ONE key that (if like XP) you can only reinstall the OS 3-4 times before you have to contact MS to pay for a new key. MS should just make OS's around $100 no more, then people may be more opted to buy it instead of download it and crack it. I understand how the company losses from piracy, but untill the prices drop it won't stop me.
