How to create a CGI prxy?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to create a cgi prxy because my computer teacher said that if we did, we could use it to get by the schools securtiy software and thus play games after we finish our work :P (thats y I had to misspell prxy cuz the internet automatically blocks any site with the word prxy (spelled with an O) in it. Anyway, everytime we go to a new proxy site he just blocks it, so we cant keep going to the sites. I was just wondering if you knew where to find a CGI script or a tutorial on how to build your own that will achieve the same effect... thanks

hmm well you just typed proxy... but anyways, you would have to make it on a diff site. as far as i know x10 doesn't allow proxies

nonono I wasn't planning on hosting it on X10 infact, I was planning on hosting it locally at school (btw, this thread is probably blocked at school now). Cuz our computer teacher said that if we built one we could use it locally... Anyway still requesting help on it

If you make one locally, you'd STILL be blocked. In the meantime just use mine :D

well he only blocks links and stuff to the proxy, not the actual script itself... But ill try urs anyway.

I meant, you can't host a proxy in a blocked environment, you'd still be blocked. If you host it OUTSIDE however, that'd be fine. No smart host would ever let you host CGI proxy on a shared server as that is VERY CPU intensive and would slow everyone else to a crawl.

hhahahahah i guess ur right, Ill talk to him about it, but I would still like a tutorial or something, cuz I prob. could host it on another free server or sumthing... Ill figure it out with him but all I know is that he said if we made one then we could play flash games in class and since were bored after finished assignments etc. It really would be nice.. (sux cuz that only game unblocked is Runescape and we tried that for about 10 sec. and lost interest, one of the Seniors almost feel asleep lol). Anywa, how did you make yours and where are you hosting it at?

I did it in PHP, still working on it since it doesn't support myspace yet.

Go look on Google, plenty of free scripts out there.

If I find a proxy hosted on your site, or any staff members, we will suspend it immediately.

okay calm down Brandon, I understand... (thanks bluefrog) again, my teacher said something about using it locally. Ive done a google search but have turned up empty handed Ill look again.
