    Windows XP Dual Core Allocation

Hey, I have a Windows XP laptop with dual core 64 bit (the os is NOT x64) Is there a way to make it so that programs only run on the first cpu unless i make it to run on the second? I would like to do this for some of my programs as even though they may use little cpu, they make it so other programs cant run on the same cpu or the programs will cause horrible performance.

These might help you, but I can't vouch for the effectiveness, and you'll want to check if they have a virus, eg at http://www.virustotal.com/ and http://virusscan.jotti.org/

The physics is theoretical but the fun is real.
