STUPID question about buying a Hard Drive...

I was going to ask if I should spend 84.99 for a 400 GB HD
or
Should I spend 89.50 for a 500 GB HD?

I'm new to this building a computer I got all my parts picked out (I've had help from my brother, thank him :P) except this.

I download movie, music, and play video games...
I think I should go for the 90 dollar one 5 more buck for another 100 GB HD (I have somewhere good to buy them)...

For a difference of $4.51 - I'd go for the 500 GB HD. You may never use up all the space, but will be nice to have, and with that little of a difference between the two ... go for the bigger drive.

I would. $90 for 500GB significantly better value than $85 for 400GB. But, if you can't afford the $5, then I guess you shouldn't.

No Brainer get 500. And you can get it for about 70 Dollars these days.

If the difference is only smaller than what you actually get then go for the bigger one. Choose 500GB

What is the speed of each drive ??? Did you take that into consideration. Obviously if you are gaming and watching movies and such you would want the quicker drive right. ???
