    Veriface Security Software

I want to give the forum the heads up, about a software that uses your face to login to your laptop,, I just bought a new laptop that came with the Veriface software and it's so kool. All I have to do is look into my webcam and it will do a face recognition and if it recognizes me then it will log me in. Now thats what I'm talking about. I'm sure that the software is out there on Google. If anyone else is using it please respond. With a little bit of code tweaking, it might could do more......

I had heard of face recognition being used this way, but I've never known anyone who's used it. I know that quite a few laptops have a fingerprint scanner, and this is probably more reliable than face recognition unless you have a very good webcam.

Does it work in dark/very bright light? Some webcams have difficulties with lighting which may prevent the software recognising you.

My laptop has a fingerprint one ( touchy at times, too )
I have heard of the type of software, just never heard of it used on a computer / laptop. Usually some form of Biometrics is used in government facilities ...
