It's not really a computer shop (it's actually an electrical town), but Akihabara in Japan is a good (and cheap) place to buy parts. Otherwise, Wellington-based online shop Ascent is a great place.

I normally use either eBuyer or Dabs. In the past I have also used Maplin, but they are just too expensive.

It's trustworthy though. PriceSpy is a good place to look, but be careful. ;)

I stick to NewEgg.com, TigerDirect.com They are similar to a Costco/Sam's Club for computer parts. They sell things a little above wholesale price, which can be a couple hundred cheaper than brick-and-mortar stores.

For custom-built computers, IBuyPower.com seems good and has had good reviews.

Best UK shop as far as I know is www.scan.co.uk - the prices are good and the service is top quality too. Shipping can be a little high though if you just want a small package.

Other shop I use is www.novatech.co.uk - Theyre prices are sometimes a little more, depending on what you want, but theyre live support is the best, and the postage cheap too.
