I have a stupid pop-up error whenever I go into C:\. The pop-up error is that there is a critical error and I have to install an anti-spyware service that is made up of ********. Is there any way to stop from this error to keep on poping up?

Heh that's not an error, that is spyware/adware.
I suggest you install "Spybot Search and Destroy" or "Ad-Aware" or "Windows Defender" to remove it. Use either of those programs to scan your computer for spyware/adware
If it can't be removed, come back here and we can continue from where we left off

Personally i recommend Spybot S+D, I have never had a problem since i started using it, it's completely free and doesnt hog resources

So thats where it went! I thought i was losing my mind.
Spybot S&D is good for immunizing your system, but for good real-time protection, use Windows Defender and for good scan protection, use the free version of SpyDoctor. The best all-in-one antispyware is Webroot Spysweeper, but since I have no money and my computer is too slow to run all of the above apps, I use Spyware Terminator (works surprisingly well).
This is the stupid ****ing anti-spyware injection that I got. Now I am ******.

How did you get this Spyware?
Here's the links to the downloads for each of these programs if you haven't gotten them already.
Spybot download: http://www.spybotupdates.com/files/spybotsd160.exe
Ad-Aware download: http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-200...dlPid=10844457
Windows Defender Download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
If these programs fail to run, open this site up in IE and do a full system scan. If it finds anything, it will remove it for free.n http://safety.live.com . I've seen this kind of Spyware/Adware infection, actually the same one in one of my family relative's computer (they had an insane amount of viruses that I traced back to Limewire) and the above Live Safety site removes it for sure. Make sure though that when you scan using the site, that the scan is the window that is selected. If that stupid, fake scan comes up, close out of it if you can and let the Live Safety scanner run. That way it finishes in the least amount of time and Windows doesn't shove it into Background Processes mode.
EDIT: For your information guys, don't click the link in the above second post. It may just put the same spyware/adware program on your computer. I don't know this from experience, but it's a known, common fact about people clicking stupid links like the second above post has in it or downloading random crap and letting it execute. Don't worry though, every link in this post is safe.
