I found out about these new MacBooks this afternoon on apple.com while bored today. I never got the time to look into the specs since I was gaming, but let's see how the reviews of these new notebooks turn out. I also hear Apple came out with a new Theater screen to go along with the new MacBooks with a special plug to charge the laptop off of the monitor as well, maybe even deliver video as well.

Indeed, the new MacBooks have a Geforce 9400M compared to Intel integrated graphics. This is clearly vastly superior for gaming.

It seems to me that Apple might be starting to focus on gaming in its personal products. Steve Jobs seemed to push the 2nd generation iPod Touch as a gaming platform to compete with the likes of the Nintendo DS. With their consumer laptops having decent graphics power, perhaps game developers will look into OS X as a platform for their next game.
