    Has anyone tried Linux Mint?

If so, can you please share your experiences with me?
All I know so far that it is
    Ubuntu-derived (which is Debian-derived itself)
    LAMP Capable
    WINE Capable
and pretty stable with proprietary codacs installed, which is a plus.

Same, it's flexible and can run asp.net and asp langauges, unlike windows which can't run php on some servers I see ...

I have tried Ubuntu, it's clean simple and good looking. (Coders Love) lol

i didnt like the menu too much, but the xfce version menu is better...

for me the only reason to use mint over ubuntu is it already has flash installed (and maybe video codecs) which is useful from the live cd if you like to use live cd's.

For a newbie to linux, would you recommend Unbuntu server as a good server software to create a home network ( with 2 windows based PCs connecting to it? )
