I need SMTP help!

Ok, so my problem is that I have a site that send you mail and such when you register, I have dabbled a bit with SMTP but I am still quite confused.

To set up SMTP for my server it is asking me for.
Smtp host :
Smtp username:
Smtp password :

It also asks for the email address and sender name, but that doesnt seem important. So supposedly if I enter all that it should work. Now my question is do I have to you my ISP as my SMTP or can I use something or someone else like a program or site or whatever?Does x10 offer a SMTP?

Any information would be greatly helpful. :dunno:

x10 DO offer a SMTP.Please try the following info.

Smtp host : localhost
Smtp username: Your cpanel username
Smtp password : your cpanel password

It should be working, if not please post back.
