Best Band In The World?

I think that the best band in the world would have to be Tool. I think this is because of there sound and well the general sound of the band. I love the vocals that Maynard can put out there. Into the world. I have also found there music to move me and change my feelings about the world. I also like there Album 10,000 Days because it is about Maynard's mothers death which is something I can connect with the lead singer. I didn't vote so it is what you guys think.



P.S I know it is not to serious but hey its the new years.

Usually my favourite band is Tower of Power (youtube it), but sometimes it is Rage Against The Machine

Out of the bands you listed, I have to go with Pink Floyd, even though Richard Wright died and the remaining members aren't on speaking terms with Roger Waters.

My favorite band (and probably one of the two or three most influential bands ever) would have to be Led Zeppelin. Their catalogue includes an absurd amount of variety; I think that's what draws me to them more than anything. No two songs sound alike, and they experimented with so many different kinds of music you can listen to them no matter what kind of mood you're in.

I've always like Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Genesis (with Peter Gabriel), and some King Crimson. I'm now very much into Ayreon. Especially the Universal Migrator 1. But, that's just me. ;)
