Question What type of CPU do you have?

Well, please answer in this format
A-What type of Processor/CPU do you own? (Include Brand and model)
B-What type do you wish you had?
C-Custom Built PC or Manufacturer Made
    D-AMD or Intel?
    E-Any other thoughts about Processors/CPU's?

Please answer to your best knowledge.

For me It would have to be
    A-AMD ATHLON II X4
B- Either a AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz, or a new AMD when it comes out.
C- Custom Built with sweat, blood and tears. (Well none of those but some hefty cash)
    D- AMD
E- I can't wait till the release of the new AMD Processors.

If your not Tech Savvy then please try your best to answer. NO TROLLING/FLAMING

    Sincerely,
    GameMaster

Re: What type of CPU do you have?

    A - Desktop computer: Intel Core 2 Duo processor E6300 1.86Ghz
    Notebook (Cr-48 ) - Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz

    B - I want one of those Intel i7s, maybe Intel Core i7 995X.

C - Manufacturer Made :P Never tried custom building before.

    D - I would choose Intel

E - I'm not that into customizing the hardware on my computer. I had this computer since early 2007 and the only thing I ever changed about it regarding hardware was adding 1 GB of RAM. I'm not a gamer at all and don't really do anything intensive on my computer so I don't really require a powerful CPU, although it would be nice to have one.

Very Nice. Custom building is quite fun, but have to be very careful if you wish to keep it from being ruined by static electricity. Yeah, a powerful CPU is usually a good one, but Intel is very good, I had a Dell, much to the same of your desktop, but I sold it. But adding components is the start of something greater!! Thanks for replying! Always glad to have fun, and meet new folks.

Re: What type of CPU do you have?

    A- AMD Athlon II x4 620 (2.6 Ghz)
B- There's allways something better coming out
    C- custom build
D- not a fair question as both have thier merits
E- AMD gives a good bang per buck for mid range computing (my rig handles COD very happily), but Intel gives blistering performance at the top end so it really depends what the PC is expected to be doing.
    The code must flow.

Re: What type of CPU do you have?

    A: Intel Core i3
    B: Core i7 Extreme
    C: Custom!
D: Either. AMD or Intel is fine with me. I am just using Core iXXX because that's what I do my programming on at work (to ensure compatibility)
E: Brand really don't matter nowadays. PC performance depends on how the system's configured (setup, if you're building one).

    A - AMD phenom x4 3.2GHz
B - this one is decent but an i7 would probably be better
    C - custom
    D - AMD
E - check out the new APU's they are working on. It will replace GPU and CPU in one. This will eliminate bottlenecks and make things run faster!!
