UserNames With Numbers

Why do so many users have numbers after their name?

Have they no sense of self, no personal image of themselves and cannot create a unique name?
Maybe it's just being lazy, or are they more likely to be a spammer keeping track of multiple accounts?

What are your thoughts?

I don't see a problem with people that have usernames with numbers, especially if it's only one or two...but if it's nearly all numbers, I see how it's annoying and all

When someone likes one username he want to use it at all costs and when it is already taken he just add some numbers after. I don't think that there is any connection between the numbers in usernames and spammers or other kinds of Internet intruders.
