World of Warcraft or Runescape?

Which online game do you believe is more entertaining,fun, adventurous? I have played WoW for about a year and a half and believe it is great story line with awesome graphics. Im not saying its like the best game in the world or anything but its pretty good. One problem though is the constant patches and the monthly fees. uh. THe thing i love is the interaction between other players from across the nation. Met alot of friends and retards.
Runescape. Ahh runescape considering i've only played runescape like twice i never really gave it a chance. Im not dissing on it or anything, but the only thing that makes me a little defensive are those individuals that have never played wow in their lives and totally diss on it like it broke their new God of War II in two, or they "hate" it because they have to pay so it makes it gay and runescape better. Well first off i'd rather pay for wow anyday then runescape(cheap music.;P), second there are private servers! And to those people that hate Runescape.....well i mean its not like they need to take that 7 hour download that scares away probably 1/3 of people that try to download wow! ;) Make your choice. I guess they are both good. But i just think wow is worth the money,memory, and time!

Personally? Neither.

On the aspect of WoW, because I've watched people get way too involved. Grown adults who would rather rush home after working all day, ignore their young ( only ) child to play WoW. Or the mother of one child, who would put her near newborn in a crib with a DVD player, so she could go in the other room and play WoW.
They can't afford food, time with family / friends - but can afford the monthly price, meetings with their Guilds, etc.
When a game becomes that addicting, its not worth even looking into to play.

I agree with StarShine, I'd definitely pick neither. Primary reason I play FPS is because I can play it and move on; RPGs you become easily drawn into playing 24/7

True. Very true, but it also depends on the person. Self-control. If a simple game can make an obsession out of a grown man, what does that show? No self control. I mean there are other worse things people can be obsessed/addicted with an its not like you see every one of those 9million players having these difficulties. Deep down under WoW is a awesome game with pretty colors, good story, and swords: the essentials of any great game! ;P Hey any game can be addicting, its the really good ones that are the worst, but you know what? It depends on the person! But for those obsessors, i think what makes it easier is once they hear these stories it helps them break the obsession.

Not runescape for me at the very least... I would choose WoW but I'm insanely bored of it.

I had playied WoW ... and it's a nice game with characters ... Most of this game I love the graphics.

You may not see it, but then again - how many people are going out and telling the news media that they are addicted to WoW ( or any other online gaming thing ). Like most addictions as well, people try and keep it to themselves. The only reason I know about these people that I mentioned was because they are family to a friend of mine.
I never said WoW wasn't a good game, I just said I couldn't honestly give my opinion because of what I have witnessed this game ( and many others ) do to people.
