Israel's attack on Gaza, your views?

I have been getting updates on Israel's attack on Gaza, 2 days before report said 450 dead, 2750 injured and worst part, they don't have medicine to cure the injured and even worse, they don't have any food to eat!

I went through few pics and videos, their condition was very horrible, small child who was crushed under construction-material, his image still lingers in my mind.

I think this act of Israel is not justified, although I believe Hamas did wrong, but killing of innocents?
America earlier said it was correct what Israel is doing, infact it backed Israel, now with growing pressure from UN, US is "trying" to act.

Don't quote me here, but I believe America is "locked" into backing Israel as part of an international treaty, regardless.

It's a sad thing, but it's part of a conflict as old as time itself; my opinion is, we really don't have the right (and probably don't have the resources) to interfere. We have our own problems to worry about.

No, I agree with you, it's not fair. But there's a lot evil things going in the world; it tends to make one apathetic after a while. I'm not sure what can really be done without the backing of someone powerful enough to deliver a good effort (i.e, someone with a lot of money or public influence).

I think Hamas is the wrong person this time, but I try not to think about it too much cause I am from middle east and sometimes feel sorry for them but at least in Australia we don't get treated different and we are protected!

I agree Hamas is wrong, but how cruel killing of 500 non-Hamas'?
How cruel injuring 3000 excluding Hamas', and no medicine at all?
How cruel destrying properties, building of a low economy country?
How cruel targeting mosques and other worship places?

Israel has their battle to fight. You must keep in mind that all this started because of the Arabs. If the Arabs would leave Israel alone and stop trying to push them off their narrow strip of land, then Israel would leave them alone. I can understand that Israel is getting fed up with attacks and is trying to teach the arabs a lesson to leave them alone.

i honestly think that both sides are at fault. i haven't a clue on what they should do to fix it since it seems like it's a stalemate.

I think there needs to be a treaty over there. There needs to be a defined border and no army is allowed over that border.

Yes, they are both at fault, BUT, the arabs started it all. I think the Israelis would be content to live at peace if the surrounding nations would let them.

So you believe killing of 600 and injuring 3000 is well justified for what "arabs started it all"
small children and pregnant women must also be killed for what "arabs started it all"
