    BBC news....

I am rather disgusted by the marketing techniques of BBC news, for anybody who doesnt know the full story:

ITV channel 4 and channel 5 decided to run a advertisement for respectible charitys raising money for the Gaza strip. However the BBC refused saying it would affect its "impartiality"

Personally i think thats a lie, innocent children suffering is partial to evrey living human being, nobody should allow a child to suffer.

The BBC hope by not playing the advertisement the Jewish community that support Isreals assult on Gaza will watch thier channels, i hope they are sadly mistaken, because i hope that the Jewish community feel the pain for the innocent children in Gaza.

Wow, that is complete BS man o.o I don't have that channel over here in USA, but that's pretty bad.. News channels here often give adverts about children in like Africa dieing, India, all those 3rd war countries....

I'm thinking BBC is being careful not to show partiality for one side or the other. Unlike local papers I've read which denounce the violence by the Israelis. Granted; they may be getting carried away with the constant bombing and no innocent children should have to die but a lot of these "papers" are not reporting the other side either. What about the innocents of the other side?...

What the BBC is showing reminds me of all of the commercials for ripoff products or scams that I see on big popular networks.

I totally agree with what you are saying ejweb, but lets not make this conversation political as our views may be completley diffrent.

The bottom line is thousands of children are dying in Gaza. Just like any humanitarian crisis. Just because these children where born in the Gaza strip, or EVEN if they are childing of militants, doesnt give them any less right to live and be loved.

I think this is just one of BBC's sick marketing techniques. They are hoping that Jews who do not want Gaza to recieve aid will watch thier channel over other channels.
