Re: My account is "closed"?
If your account is on the lotus server, it's because you are in one of the countries that x10Hosting considers "high risk". New accounts from "high risk" countries have restrictions that regular free hosting accounts do not have, like a 500MB disk space limit (which, by the way, is more space than the total disk space available to me for the first few dozen corporate line-of-business web sites I created). See this entry for further information.
A 500 error does not mean that your account is closed. It means that something went wrong on the server. That may mean a glitch on the server (waiting may fix it) or that there's something wrong with your code, or something misconfigured in your account (particularly your .htaccess file or permissions on files and folders). See the wiki entry for 500 errors for more.
Finally, x10Hosting is aware of the problem with the support link on the account control panel. Lotus is a new server created specifically to deal with new "high risk" accounts, and the link only goes to the "support closed" page with some of the accounts -- they're working on it. Support tickets are posted to the Free Hosting forum unless they're escalated, so you can create a support request there. (You won't be able to respond to any threads in that forum unless you created them.)
