You talk about backups but make life hard?

I just read this: I have one complaint about this whole boru server situation. and I would like to ask why you make it hard for people to make then.

I read that you have disabled the backup feature in cpanel, why? Is it because it slow the server down?

Yes, it is very resource intensive to create cPanel tarball. When you have hundreds of users setting up crons to do it daily, or even manually initiating it, it causes server degradation. There is nothing stopping you from creating a manual backup via downloading from FTP and dumping the database with PHPMyAdmin however.

Yeah, its really easy, theres even a wiki page on how to do it. Just search the forums.
But you pretty much, select all in the file manager, click compress up top, and it downloads it. Voila.
