Sarcasm and "New Posts"

I'm all for adding both sarcasm tags as well possibly spoilers. C'mon x10 coder, would it really take you that much work?

I usually find that adding a simple ;) emoticon at the end of something sarcastic will help to clarify, if I'm worried that my statement would be misunderstood.

IMHO is a bit closer to sarcasm specifically, while ;) is more of a general "just kidding".

Spoiler & Strike tags would be good, but I don't know how easy they would be to implement, & there is the danger that the Reply box's interface would become too cluttered.

There's a definite danger of that. To avoid it, we obviously need to convert the entire forum system to plain text only. (See what I mean? ;))
