    History/Geography Trivia

I suppose this qualifies as a forum game. Someone who answers a question correctly can ask their own question. You can't use Google or Wiki to help answer a question, although you can use it to help devise a question.

OK. There are only two countries in the world that are completely contained within another country, which means these two countries can't border on an ocean. Name the two countries.

Vatican City; Republic of San Marino; Andorra; Switzerland; Lichtenstein; Hungary; Czech Republic; Slovak Republic; Lesotho; Botswana; Swaziland etc

Do you mean completely controlled within only one country or within several other countries. The latter is suggested by the ruke that the country must not border on an ocean.
    Best regards Frankfriend

Hey, sorry for the delay, I forgot I made this thread.

The country must be completely surrounded (not controlled, but surrounded) by only one other country, there are only two such countries, and they areboth in the list you have given.

Ok, well that's easy, only a republic would last that long, so ummm, let me see, the Republic of SanMarino.

    Re: History/Geography Trivia

the world's highest lake has no name. it lies nestled in the crater of Licancabur, a dormant volcano in the Andes that rises nearly 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) above sea level, straddling the border between Chile and Bolivia.
