    Domain Transfer

    Hi there,

Could you kindly advise me when/how I will know that my domain name has been transferred from my preivous host. The domain name was only parked there and an actual web not created. I have been advised that it takes them 48 hours to transfer the name and that was applied for last Friday 27th Nov

I now have www.letsgodrivertraining.x10hosting.com and wish to publish letsgodrivertraing.com and still be hosted by x10hosting.

    Many thanks in advance

    Re: Domain Transfer

i see you have redirected the DNS to x10.
but have you added it in the cPanel yet?

also it takes about 24-36 hours for DNS servers to propagate, although it may take sooner.

    Re: Domain Transfer

X10 is not domain registrar, So no transfer to x10, The only thing you have to do is change the domain name servers of your domain to
    ns1.x10hosti.com
    ns2.x10hoting.com

Once changed it may take 24 to 48 hours for propagation

And you have to do is to place the domain in your cpanel as pasked domain.

    To access cpanel http://www.letsgodrivertraining.x10hosting.com:2082

and give cpanel username and password.
    Once you enter into cpanel
goto domains section and in that select "Parked domains"

    add the letsgodrivertraing.com there

    thats it. You are done
After that if you access letsgodrivertraing.com you will get your site.
