FTP Password Not Working

I use normally Dreamweaver to update my site so I use FTP frequently. However one day when attempting to connect it said I had the wrong password, so I assumed I had bad connection or something and tried again but I got the same error message. So I went and logged on through the site and check my ftp account there thinking maybe something had changed without me knowing, however all the information was the same. I tried several possible passwords none of which worked.

Is it possible for someone to reset the password for the main account. That is the main FTP account.

You have all the information about your FTP user in your Cpanel. But you can try to create another ftp early adopters all permits and a new pass (the one you want) and see if that works;)

Is there somewhere that tells what the password is on my cpanel? If there is I cannot find it.

For FTP your cpanel username is default account,

Use it.

Did you checked by connecting to your hosting account using ftp client like filezilla
