    terms of service

    Hi,

Well written and awesome control panel / web site I must say!

When I signed up for a free hosting account, I agreed to a long list of stuff. I can't remember some of them but I know one of them is that I would not use php to send mail.

Anyway, I used to have a SMF forum and installed it temporarily to recover some info. stored in it and realized that it sends email so does that mean I can't use a forum on my site anymore?

I read the terms of service located here:

    http://x10hosting.com/tos.php

which is different from the first one - although I like this much shorter and more liberal agreement better. :-) Yeah, let's go with this one that doesn't mention email..

I think what you might remember is Mass Mailing scripts.
Regular emails (as part of a forum, etc) are ok, if you keep the amount to a reasonable rate (100 per hour)

See Corey's Announcement on this subject.

    Nothing is always absolutely so.

Thanks for the quick reply, your stock value goes up. I would be lucky to hit 100 a year and totally hate spammers and so common sense prevails here?- I like that!

Also - I got a random question that asked what color is the sky and I said gray but it said I was wrong. I went to window and checked twice and it is in fact gray but then I live in he pacific nw and it is always gray.

That question is a bit subjective...

It's supposed to be blue I think XD

It goes away after 5 posts I think; I might be wrong on the number required but it -does- go away once you've made a few posts. It's just trying to make sure you're not a spambot
