I am trying to set up an smf forum on my website, but it can't connect to my SQL account. I have set up a forum before with the same methods.

Hello,

I did find the error. You had specified the user as mr.mod_user2, while the correct one would be mrmod_user2 in the configuration for the forum.

Does seem you need to re-add your sub domain (forum.purpleblock.co.cc) though
