i have problems with my joomla folder because now the folders are unwriteable so i cant upload my file through joomla, plus the site is down right now, i wanna know if u have some problems with the server and how can i change the folders to writeable?

If you are using an FTP program, you can right-click on a file or folder and chmod it (adjusts what other scripts can do to it). If permission is blocked (an error message will tell you this), chmod the folder and all files and subfolders in that folder to 777 (that is the most permission possible).

This just happened (I think). x10 has, according to my site, disabled the local file system FTP access. In EasyMOD and Extreme Styles MODS on my phpBB forum, I have had to input my FTP credentials so it can access my stuff via built-in FTP. It used to use local FTP file system functions. But it works now, and I think they did this to reduce cross-site scripting to access files and databases via the local FTP.
