Can't Install Modules and Components on my Joomla

Hi there mod, I really need help here because I'd tried going thru posts and installing the extensions for joomla. Solutions I had tried are :-

1. Installing from directories
2. Changes made on the chmod

Now i don't know what had happen where Error 500 had happen. I will be glad if you guys can help me out here. Thanks a lot!

There are some issues with free servers which could be messing up the installation process....should be okay in an hour or two.
