    Mail Server Ports

I know many other people have posted similar posts saying that they have problems with recieving emails into a client such as Microsoft Outlook and all that.

The errors I get predict that I may not have the right port for sending mail. I have tried to send test messages to and from Microsoft Outlook and I can only recieve emails that are addressed to the email address. The message I sent failed and didnt go anywhere.

I have correctly set up an auto-response for all my sites email addresses and they go through perfectly, im just having a bit of problems regarding sending mail - possilby the outgoing mail port.

    My current settings: (POP3/SMTP)
    -----------------------------------------

    Outgoing Mail Server: mail.thejeffsta.x10hosting.com
    Incoming Mail Server: mail.thejeffsta.x10hosting.com
    Outgoing Mail Port: 110
    Incoming Mail Port: 25

When I click on 'Test Connection' from in the account settings area of Microsoft Outlook, it says its 'Test message failed. The specified server was found but there was no response from the server'

If mail was turned off, then wouldnt it stop you from recieving mail also?

Do you know when its getting turned on? I still cannot send mail from my mail client on my computer.
