    URL for site

Apparently, the URL for my site is eleanorb.elementfx.com/eleanorb -- I didn't expect the second eleanorb -- is that necessary? Other sites I've used don't need a directory at that level... Or have I misunderstood the setup?

    Thanks, Eleanor

    Re: URL for site

Misunderstood setup I would guess cause it actually works at both urls; all your files should go in public_html. This is considered "root" so if you don't want the site in a subfolder, move all of the files from the eleanorb folder up one level to public_html.

Edit: To clarify, when I said it works at both urls, I checked on the server - you've actually got your index.html in two places, once in public_html, and once in public_html/eleanorb, so the index itself works in both. There's a PDF file in eleanorb though, so if you'd rather that be accessible at eleanorb.elementfx.com/filename.pdf, move it to public_html and all should be fixed

Thanks for the explanation! What is the folder eleanorb for, then, and who created it?

No idea who made it or why it's there to be honest; my free account doesn't have one.

My -guess- would be an FTP client might've made it if its settings weren't quite set right; most clients allow for a "root directory" setting which is usually used to get them pointed into public_html right away. It's possible it went to public_html/YOURFTPUSERNAME instead, which as soon as it uploaded 1 file, it would've created that folder. It should be safe to remove at least though.
