Hi, I currently have a website over at wordpress.com and would like to move it to x10hosting. I am unclear on how to obtain a domain name. Do I need to pay for this or what? Also, can I add webhosting to this account?

To move a WordPress blog here, you would need to use the self-hosted WP: http://wordpress.org From WP.com, download an XML export file and upload it to your new installation. WordPress can be installed in one click through our control panel Softaculous installer.

Ok, thanks. One more question, will this account be deleted if not logged into and I use my webhosting account primarily? I would be fine with that as I registered under the wrong username. Also, where can I make suggestions on this forum?

We have an inactivity rule that states that free hosting users must login to the forums at least once a month in order to avoid suspension for inactivity (posting not required). If a user fails to rectify the inactivity suspension by logging into the forums within fourteen days of the inactivity suspension then the free hosting account will be permanently deleted. The inactivity rule applies to free hosting accounts. Forum accounts are never deleted.
