Is it possible to delete one site so that I can start another on my account?

Do you mean delete your current free hosting account and create a new free hosting account?
Yes, that could be done, but before we do that why not tell us why you wish to do that - we might be able to solve the problem.
Or, do you mean delete your current domain?

When I tried to modify the domain for my site, however it did not work, so I tried to change it back, which caused even more problems. So I thought if i downloaded my site as a ZIP file and deleted my hosting account and then created a new one all would be solved. However I am not sure how to delete my current hosting account and then create a new one.

To get the entire hosting account deleted, fill out this form for confirmation

The X also serves as my digital signature verifying that I have proper authorization to request account deletion of the account specified.

You can do that as a reply to this thread. Make sure to make it clear you want to create a new account, otherwise the account would only be marked for automatic termination, aka put into suspension awaiting termination and not done directly.

When you register for a new one, please do so from inside your account panel to get the new one attached to your current account.
