Nameservers and add-on domain troubles

I would like to add an add-on domain (which I actually would like to make as my main domain) and therefore will need to know the nameservers to point my domain to.
When I have tried to change the main domain I've encountered several different errors saying "The domain you have supplied is already in use."

You had added jerluc.com as your add on domain.Now are using this same domain as your main domain ? You can't use same domain twice, as addon and main domain

I had originally made it an add-on, but then I deleted it, and now I'm trying to use it as my main domain, and thus getting the error message.

Your account still shows it as Addon domain.
