CMS recomendations

Hi Guys,

A while ago I installed - by ftp, Concrete5 to try out. I did some basic work & left it for a week only to find I'd been suspended for high system resource usage!

Question is, what would be a similar, easy to handle but flexible CMS that will not cause me problems on X10 ?

I'd be grateful for any recommendations, thanks.

You might not need to change. I'd start with looking into cache configuration, if there is any.

While cache often reduce the actual load time, it often use up a bit of resources while adding content to cache, especially if it set too agressive.

This is however what caused it:

SCRIPT_URI=http://www.lignumspectare.com/about/

At that time the account was using around 60% of one CPU on the server.

Thanks Anna, that was very informative. But, as the 'about' page, all scripts & cache settings were still original I have to idea why it should run wild.
So I'd rather not risk it & look at another CMS. Thanks,

FYI - I settled on textpattern - installed from cpanel via Softaculous and hopefully this is more resource friendly.
