Am I going to be faced with having to re-install my website due to error?

    Hi.

I know I have already posted this error, but I need to know if it's a problem with the servers which means it will eventually be corercted, or do I have to re-install Joomla? I know this sound like I'm being impatient, but for me to continue I need to make that decision.

I see that the error 404 I had earlier has gone, and my website can be accessed, but their are bugs still present. Ever since I had that 404 error, when a person selects the breadcrumb link home, or if I select preview in my admin (Joomla) I recieve this error (bottom). The page in which is trying to be accessed is...

    aio1155.x10.mx/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi.

I am no tech person, or have any idea of what I am suppose to do on my part except maybe being faced with the possibility of having to re-install which is something I definitely do not wish to do.

QUESTION: Is this error due to server problems, and/or Do I have to re-install to correct this problem?

    Any help will be appreciated.

If you feel you have reached this page in error, please contact the web site owner:
    webmaster@aio1155.x10.mx

It may be possible to restore access to this site by following these instructions for clearing your dns cache.

If you are the web site owner, it is possible you have reached this page because:

    * The IP address has changed.
    * There has been a server misconfiguration.
    * The site may have been moved to a different server.

If you are the owner of this website and were not expecting to see this page, please contact your hosting provider.

It is probably not the server at fault, however I can browse all pages of your site fine, and I've tried all of the home links. If possible could you please post the URL you're trying to access at the time it throws the error.
You may also have already tried, but sometimes defaultwebpage errors can be cleared by clearing the browser cache and flushing your DNS. It probably will have no effect in this case, but try it anyway.

Hi, and thanks for the help.

Well, you are correct, it isn't the servers fault. I run two Firefox versions on my system. One 3.6.22, and the other is the beta 4.0. Once I ran the 4.07 version, it immediately cleared the cache, and must have done something else because the site is now working again, all the errors have been cleared.

Thanks to you folks helping me out, I now know what to do next time I'm faced with this issue.

It was just bloody odd that it even happened really. One moment everything works fine, the next minute everything goes just crazy. It's pretty hard to keep up with the dang errors.

    Thanks guys....
