How long before free hosting account is created?

    Hello,

I just created a new free hosting account but it is now in the system queue since 2 or 3 hours. Is this normal? I thought I read somewhere it would take 1 hour max.

    Thanks

Account creation during busy periods when the queue is large can be up to 48 hours, but that's rare. Also, make sure you have confirmed your email address through the email you were sent, as until then the account will not be even in the queue.

Yeah, I see your forum account has a hosting request on it, so it shouldn't be long now.

Re: How long before free hosting account is created?

    Hello again,

it's been 24 hours now and my hosting account is still not active. I'm suspecting something went wrong but of course all I can see on my hosting page is this message :
    action status : Process wait

information : Your hosting account signup is currently awaiting processing or executing within our system queue. Its status is displayed above and will be updated upon clicking the submit below
Would it be possible to have a quick look at it?

    Thanks a bunch

Oops, you said "up to 48hours" ... so I guess I'm complaining too fast again

    Sorry ;-)

But after 24 more hours I might get evil

Judging by that fact that you are now not the only one reporting issues with signup, I'm going to suggest that there may be a problem with the account creation queue or it's been halted for a specific reason. I've left a note for the admins to take a look, thanks for your patience.
