    Recieving default webpage error.

    Hi.

I'm receiving this error page for trying to reach webpage if I...

    1. try to preview webpage via preview in admin panel.
    2. trying to access page by using web address aio1155.x10.mx without using /index.php

    aio1155.x10.mx/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

    Later!

    Hi there,

The link without index.php works fine for me. Please try clearing your browser cache and flush your DNS, then try again.

    Hi.

The index.php works for me as well. I'm running into the problem where I wish to preview my website by choosing preview in my admin panel, and I get the error in my previous post. Or if I just try to access the webpage by http://aio1155.x10.mx

I'll try clearing my cache, and dns again. I have done that twice earlier, and it didn't clear the problem.

Cheers, and thanks for the reply.

I am shamed by one of the best...stpvoice you are correct. Thanks for the tip. The oddity of this is I did what you have suggested twice before, and it never cleared the problem. Now it's been fixed.

What actually causes this to happen?

    Cheers, and take care!

This is normal expected behavior from the browser. Normally, when a page is cached it saves you a bunch of time loading and reloading pages for things that don't change that frequently. The software may be setting a header that is abnormally long for the type of page you're viewing, but there's not much you can do about that.

Okay, thanks. Now that I know nothing can be done about it I guess living with it won't be so bad. It doesn't happen all that often which is a good thing I suppose.

    Again thanks garrettroyce.
