most of the time cannot connect to ftp

hello,

today im trying to upload some things through ftp, but unfortunately when i try to connect to it the connection just dies.. i tried many times to connect but no luck, only a few times i connect i can upload something but most not?

are there updates to it so that is the reason i cant connect alwayss?
