Do I need to transfer my .com domain to X10 Hosting - or just show it as a "parked domain" in my hosting account control panel?
If I do need to transfer it (as from one provider to another), what is the procedure?
(I already unlocked the domain from my current provider, changed the nameservers to X10, and set up a redirect to my free .co.cc site - I'm just trying to find out what else, if anything, I need to do.)

No transferring

Just you need to point the domain to x10hosting servers

You don't have to unlcok the domain

When you park the domain, you do not need redirects.

In your case, it will look quite unprofessional ( .com domain as an entry point, but then co.cc on all the links/addresses).
