Modules and e-mail

I am testing a application module and when submitting it for a test i don't get the email for the app. Is sending email disabled from the host side?

Sending mail isn't disabled, however in the past there have been issues with Free Hosting's mail and certain e-mail services such as Hotmail Blacklisting the free servers due to abuse by some people spamming. I'm not sure if these blacklists are still up, but it's worth a shot to check your cPanel e-mail to make sure they aren't bouncing first of all.
