Hi, can you tell me what are my DNS servers so that I can point my web address to them?
Howdy;
ns1.x10hosting.com
and
ns2.x10hosting.com
I have updated my domain DNS to include the names you have provided. Strangely, typing in the domain name does not redirect to my hosting here at x10. Do you know why?
Hello.
There doesn't seem to be a custom domain name linked to your account. It's only your x10.mx domain which doesn't require any DNS updating.
Make sure you add your domain to your x10hosting account by following these instructions: http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Use_Your_Own_Domain

I have changed the domain to point to these nameservers -
and changed the main domain on x10hosting to surroundipity.com, a domain name which I bought. But this error appears -
- ns1.x10hosting.com
- ns2.x10hosting.com
http://www.surroundipity.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi
What am I doing wrong?
Try clearing your browser cache and history. I see your WordPress site.
But apparently WordPress still thinks that the site URL is the x10.mx address. That is why there is no theme/style/css
If you can't change the setting in the Admin section, you will have to do it manually.
1. cPanel --> PHPMyAdmin
2. Select your WordPress db
3. Select the wp_options table
4. Edit the 'site_url' entry to point to your new address.
That should fix it.
Nothing is always absolutely so.
thanks for the help so far.
I did as what you said and changed the siteurl under wp_options to surroundipity.com. Now, the landing page loads but there is no CSS/themes and every link is broken.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
You forgot the http:// when you changed it.
Nothing is always absolutely so.
the landing page looks fine now, but the links are still broken.![]()

In wordpress's administration, you should now be able to change your site url and the location of the files. Try changing them both to reflect the domain. site-url isn't the only place your url is stored, and is only used to construct the page, all links will be off since the site is located somewhere else now.
It's under Settings -> General
