Hello,

i have a problem with oscommerce v3.0 Alpha 5 installation.
On the second site of installpage (Database Server), he says:

There was a problem connecting to the database server. The following error had occured:
1045: Access denied for user 'macm3dik_admin'@'web4.vital.x10hosting.com' (using password: YES)
Please verify the connection parameters and try again.


Database Server: localhost
Username: macm3dik_admin
Database Name: macm3dik_shop
Database Type: MySQL - MyISAM (default)
Database Table Prefix: osc_

I'm to 100% sure that the password, username and the database name is correct and the the database user has all privileges.


I have often created a new database and a new user, but the error comes again.

The same problem with shop version 2.3.1.

This is not a problem from oscommerce or me, this is a problem with your server, please help me
