How do I get my web site on the Internet?

I have created a couple web sites before, but never uploaded any to the internet. I have no clue what I am doing and am completely lost (unfortunately, cpanel x is not too user friendly). What should I do first, second, and so on? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I uploaded everything (to public_html), but now I can't find my website on the internet. Any help would be appreciated.

Try clearing your browser cache.
I am able to access your website with no errors of difficulty, but I see a directory listing because you have apparently not uploaded the index file, (index.html or index.php), to your public_html directory.

I uploaded the index file and it sort of worked. If you notice, there are a whole bunch of missing pics icons. That's all part of my css sheet. What should I do for my CSS sheet to work? I have already uploaded it.

Unfortunately, those broken pics could be a big thorn in my side. Ths web site is not only for my mom's use, but is also being entered in a competition through school.

How is css suppossed to work on x10? Is there a different upload process other than standard html pages?

I figured out the images now, but is there any way to have just a .com website instead of hammettk6evals.elementfx.com?
