New Perl/CGI setup

Hello, I am bringing back some basic perl scripts I built on your site a couple of years ago, and keep getting the forbidden cgi-bin error. I have reset the permissions on the www and cgi-bin folders for execute settings: 755. Am I doing something wrong? How do I get my scripts to run again?
