Can't get into cPanel

I can successfully log in to my hosting account (user pacemaster491@hotmail.co.uk), having recently had to reset the password as I had forgotten it. But when I try to login to the cPanel system, my credentials are not accepted (I use the same user and password as above) Am I doing something wrong? The account is currently suspended due to inactivity.

For cPanel your username is not your email address, nor the forum username.

You can see what the username is from your account panel, click hosting at the top menu to get your hosting account details.

I still don't get it I'm afraid. Please forgive an idiot!

Am I right that my cpanel credentials are automatically set to be the same as my hosting account credentials? I have checked the hosting settings on the opening web page and have enclosed details:

Something is not right, I am sure of it. When I successfully log in to my hosting account, I click the Login to cpanel button on the web page, and when the login screen appears, it has a red error message saying login failed - that is before I have even attempted to login. Any suggestions?

Yes, the username listed for Free Hosting in that screenshot is your cPanel username.

Please try using the password reset option available under Account -> Update password
