Configure Domain from nic in x10hosting

Hello, I have been working on this along the day, but I can't get success, I have a domain from nic.mx this is "montessoridelgrijalva.edu.mx", I setup ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com as DNS1 and DNS2, and I have trying to add the domain to the hosting through cpanel on advanced DNS Zone Editor but I just can't do that, could you help me via tutorial or any other way? Thanks in advance for your attntion and replay.

I would use the addon domains tool, not the advanced DNS editor.

Re: Configure Domain from nic in x10hosting

If you want to replace your current main domain, use the Account Management System (sign on with Forum username/password) https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php

If you want to park (share content with your current main domain, so your site can be accessed by two names), use cPanel to park the domain.

If you want to have the contents separate, use the "Add on" feature. The content of the domain will come from a special subdirectory of public_html .

The system will update the nameservers to point to your server.

Your current website domain (montessoridelgrijalva.edu.mx) is accessible with defaultwebpage.cgi page.

¡MaestroFX1 it is nice! Well at least I don't see the white error page from before at looking for hosting, but could you explain me a little bit what can I do to show the page in montessoridelgrijalva.x10.mx in montessoridelgrijalva.edu.mx. Do you think, I have to wait for DNS Refresh or it is something that i have to set up?

Thanks in advance for your attention and replay, have you all an excellent day =)

Re: Configure Domain from nic in x10hosting

Currently it does show the new domain as being attached to your account.
But the DNS is working correctly, and the nameservers recognize your domain.

Ok. Exactly what do you want?

    1. the new domain as your main domain
    2. the new domain as parked so that it will point to the same content as your current main domain
    3. the new domain as add-on so that the content will come from a subdirectory of public_html. If so, please state what the name of the subdirectory should be.
    Nothing is always absolutely so.

I just want to show what montessoridelgrijalva.x10.mx shows, but using montessoridelgrijalva.edu.mx

I have the site into public_html, do I have to put into a subfolder inside public_html, like public_html/montessoridelgrijalva.edu.mx/...files...

or is it ok just inside public_html...?

Sorry because I give you headaches and thanks for your patient to me.

I tried to do this: http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Use_Your_Own_Domain

1.- I created the folder called montessoridelgrijalva.edu.mx into public_html and i uploaded all site files in there.

2.- When I tried to set up add on domain, a msg appear and says that everything is already set up, so I can't continue with next step.

I have been reading all information abut this problem in x10hosting and It's look like somebody else had the same trouble, and here is the topic in forum:

Error from park wrapper: thorie.com is already configured.

After reading a little bit I found a possible solution

Re: Error from park wrapper: thorie.com is already configured.

I've removed the DNS entry. Can you try now? <----- the solution...?
Do you think it is my problem too?

    ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    looking around....

in accord what I read last 20 minutes, I won't be able to fix it by myself =o(

On a cPanel server if you get the error: Error from park wrapper: domain.com is already configured while adding an add-on domain under cPanel. Make sure to remove the domain.com entries from:

    /var/named/domain.com.db
    /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
    /var/cpanel/users/username
    /etc/userdomains
    /etc/localdomains

Renaming or commenting will not help; you will have to remove the entries completely. Try now.

    Could you help me?
