File Permissions in File Manager

Hello, I keep getting this message when trying to change my file permissions (/home/pruk1/public_html/hit-count.txt chmod failed: Read-only file system in /home/pruk1/public_html) Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks

Seems to be a problem on all the servers. Trying to get a Staff to investigate and correct. Will post when I get more information.

I am having the same problem since 8am, and been trying to figure it out for ages! Would be good to know when it will be fixed?
